Cory Patton who played for the Colts in 2011-2012, retired from baseball Sunday night as a member of the Amarillo Sox.
San Angelo, TX--A former San Angelo Colts player said goodbye to baseball Sunday night.
Cory Patton, who currently plays for the Amarillo Sox, played his final game in Amarillo.
Patton spent several seasons with the Colts, his best season was in 2011 when he hit for .335
and had 25 Home Runs and 82 RBI's.
Most recently, he played with San Angelo in 2012.
Patton finishes his career with 999 hits just one shy of the 1,000 hit mark.
