Rio Grande Valley WhiteWings spoil Tuesday's opener winning 3 to 1.
It was a tough night for the San Angelo Colts on Tuesday dropping the first game of a seven-game home stand to the Rio Grande Valley WhiteWings 3 to 1 Tuesday night. The Colts offense just could not find a rhythm on the night and neither could the defense. The Colts committed four errors behind pitcher Alex Bates who pitched six innings, striking out four WhiteWings. Chris Grossman lead the Colts in the batter's box collecting two hits in four at-bats while driving in a run.
San Angelo will resume their home stand with a double-header on Thursday against Rio Grande Valley.
