Brian Berry, of Wall, will serve a life sentence without the possibility of parole for the murder of two Wall residents, almost a year ago.

Berry was sentenced in the Tom Green County Courthouse, Tuesday, before the 119th District Judge Ben Woodward to a life sentence with 20 years.

In July of 2013, Berry fatally shot his estranged wife, Keri Berry, and her brother, 31-year-old Brandon Block. He also critically wounded Block's wife, 26-year-old Susan Block, before taking his two children. An Amber Alert was issued and the children were recovered unharmed hours later in Andrews County.

Berry will serve his sentence in Huntsville.
