Jeff Corean: "Week one to week two for the San Angelo Bandits were at the opposite ends of the confidence spectrum. Sometimes taking a week to relax re-energize and refocus is exactly what a team needs."

Joe Brannen: "Football is the best sport in the world, but when you're working working working you forget how much fun it is. We kind of took some time to do some community events and relax a little bit and just have some fun. We hit the ground running again on Monday, it's been good as their bodies are refreshed their minds are refreshed we've had a good focus this week so far and that's what it's going to take."

Corean: "This Saturday night the two-time defending LSFL Champion, Amarillo Venom come to face the Bandits. The Venom and their winning tradition give the Bandits all they need to play their best."

LeJuan Edwards, WR : "Amarillo is always a special one. We haven't had much success being in the Joe Brannen Era, even when I was in Abilene the last couple of years. With them being the defending champions it gives us extra motivation to want to come out with our best performance."

Corean: "The Bandits defense did learn from their week two loss to Rio Grande Valley. Aggressiveness, Mental Sharpness, and execution will be the keys to success for Bandits not only this Saturday Night but for the remainder of the season."

DeMarcus James, DB: "One of the biggest things we saw you know, being more aggressive, a little more physical, tighten things up a little and the secondary needs to play closer to the receivers. Got to go out there and just be prepared, be mentally focused and focus on the game plan that we have in mind. Makes sure we execute."

Corean: "Jeff Corean, KSAN, San Angelo's Sports Channel."

The Bandits and Amarillo Venom will have a 7:05pm kick-off time on Saturday at Foster Communications Coliseum.
