The San Angelo Bandits are in second place in the Lone Star Football League after dropping a road game to the New Mexico Stars this past weekend. The Bandits had a double digit lead in the early going, then allowed the Stars to rally and take the victory. We spoke with the a few of the Bandit players this week about the loss and what they can learn from it. They also spoke on the fun they're having the season.
Willie Bradley, OL: "A lot of things we learned from that game, like never under estimate your opponent. We can't stop because it's arena football so anybody can catch up at any point and time."
Lemans Casimier: "It's been fun for me, I've had a great time with these guys. We've grown a unity together. I wouldn't want to be on the field any other group of guys."
Up next for the Bandits is a road game against the 1st place Rio Grande Sol on Saturday night. They then have a week off before the regular season finale in Amarillo later this month.
