The annual Ram Club Golf Tournament was held Monday at Bentwood Country Club. This years event was so big that they had to include two tee-off times. There was a group that teed off in the morning and then another in the afternoon. The Ram Club helps fund some scholarships, purchase items such as championship rings, and one of the biggest functions is helping with recruiting. ASU Assistant Athletic Director James Reid explained that having funds for recruiting is essential to their success.

James Reid: "Part of College Athletics is the recruiting, that's your life blood. For us to be able to get out there and get kids into San Angelo and on our campus and see that this is the place where they need to come and go to school and be an athlete is very important for us. These things drive that for us."
