Through the first two series of the Lone Star Conference Baseball season, the Angelo State Rams have two series wins. They won three out of four at Cameron and then three out of four at Foster Field against Tarleton State this weekend. While they're winning the series, the coaches feel like improvement will be needed as the season moves ahead, and that's fine with them as they want to be better at the end of the year compared to now.

Kevin Brooks: "Don't feel like we're anywhere close to where we can be, but I think that's a good thing. I think good teams find a way to win when they're not at their best and that's what makes them good. We're still continuing to try to improve and we feel like we have a lot of areas we can get better at."

The Rams will play in Canyon this coming weekend at West Texas A&M. Currently the Rams and Buffs are tied at the top of the Lone Star Conference Baseball standings with 6 and 2 records. Five teams in the LSC still have a single digit number in the loss column.
