The Storm Prediction Center has increased out chance for the approaching showers and thunderstorms to be come severe this afternoon/evening. The main threats include large hail, damaging winds, and heavy rainfall... An isolated tornado is also possible. UPDATE: The NWS has placed Crockett, Sutton, Schleicher, Irion, Sterling, Coke, Runnels, and Tom Green Counties under a Tornado Watch until 8 PM. The National Weather Service has put the Concho Valley in a Flash Flood Watch until 7 AM. More showers and thunderstorms possible late tomorrow afternoon/evening. Correction: The high temp should not have already been reached but it will plummet into the mid/upper 60's by 5 PM.
