Thousands gathered around the parade route to see over 80 groups travel through downtown San Angelo, but most importantly to show their support for our men and women who have and continue to serve our country.
Hundreds of our local military marched through the parade joined by local school bands and spirit groups.
The annual parade was not only an experience for the spectators, but for those who marched for the first time.
Veterans Day celebrations continue Monday beginning at 8 a.m. with the Flag Raising Ceremony at Howard College.
At 11 a.m., the Friends of Fairmount Cemetery will host their annual Veterans Day Celebration, with the Keynote Address given by Congressman Mike Conaway.
