San Angelo Bandits Head Coach Joe Brannen is moving on. Brannen who led the Bandits to the Lone Star Football League Title this past summer has been named Head Coach of the Iowa Barnstormers who play in the Indoor Football League. Brannen who is a native of Iowa also played professinally for the Barnstormers over three seasons at the quarterback position. Brannen is thankful for the support he received from the fans and the community of San Angelo during his time here.

Eden is under second year head coach Seth Jackson. Jackson and his bulldogs are a young team who are lead by one senior. The Bulldogs have one of the longest playoff droughts going on in the Concho Valley and with a little hard work, the Bulldogs look to but an end to the drought.
When high school football programs opened up fall practices last Monday around the Concho Valley, it still seemed as though something was missing. Then the Dallas Cowboys opened pre-season play, and still left with that unsatisfied feeling.
Water Valley Head Coach John York is starting his third year at the helm of the Wildcats and has quite a successful program installed. The Wildcats have made deep playoff runs in the past but feel 2014 is the year of the cat.
