In 2012 the Eagles graduated one of the best classes in the programs history, no problem though, the Eagles still made the playoffs last year and those guys are back and are better than ever.
Head Coach Casey Thompson said, "Just the resiliency that the kids showed,i thought was very very positive and we talked about that in the off-season,into track, into the summer strength conditioning camp, and so far it's been a very good two a day workouts."
"It's all about our mindset and our mindset is real good right now, we think we can really do good you know? we struggled last year, but we still went into the playoffs and we can see that we don't have to struggle this year to get to the playoffs you know we could be good," Senior Wide Receiver Dillon Hughes added.
Sterling City opens their season at home against Blackwell on Friday August 29th at 7:30.
