San Angelo TX--Angelo State football has finished 5-6 the past two seasons and they want to become known as one of the top teams in the conference. They feel like they are very close to accomplishing that goal.

"Well I think that our guys that we have coming back on defense, we learned that we can limit the big play and play controlled defense keeping everything in front of us and causing some turnovers we'll be successful," Head Coach Will Wagner said.

"Those games we won were all basically on little details, such as the false start, a missed extra point or you know a missed coverage so we're really focusing on the details and that'll get us through most close games," Senior Linebacker Rush Seaver added.

The Rams debut will be September 13th at LeGrand Stadium, kickoff will be 6PM.
