Monday when the new districts were announced by the U-I-L, Paint Rock is one team seeing change. They'll move East to be paired with Eden, Rochelle, and Medina who will be playing Six Man football for the first time. It's a move Paint Rock is pleased with after battling some state powers the past couple of seasons.

Bud Halfmann: "Nothing against Water Valley and Sterling City and some of those guys, I love everything they stand for but it's tough to play them. We feel like it's a better fit for us but anywhere you go there are going to be some really good teams."
