Jeff Corean: "The Miles Bulldogs saw their season come to an end this evening in Big Spring at the hands of the Anson Tigers 16-0. The Tigers were led by two straight pitching performances to get past the Bulldogs."

Jason Archibald: "You have to tip your hat to Anson. They're a very talented group, they have a good pitching staff. We gave it our best shot, unfortunately for us it wasn't enough."

Jeff: "Jason Archibald has a core group of returners coming back next season and he feels like the Miles Bulldogs are going to be strong for years to come."

Jason: "We have a good young talented group. We have a good crop of eighth graders coming in. Miles baseball is going to be alright, we're going to be competitive for years to come."

Jeff: "From Steer Park in Big Spring, Jeff Corean, KSAN, San Angelo's Sports Channel."
