San Angelo, TX--The Central Lady Cats volleyball team is starting to turn heads and are out on a mission to get respect from teams in other parts of the state.
The Lady Cats are playing at an extremely high level in this very early part of the season.
The team says they aren't done yet, and with the Nita Vanoy Tournament approaching this weekend, the Lady Cats want to stay sharp. Head Coach Connie Bozarth says this team has been a treat to coach so far, and she's enjoying the ride.

"It's fun, it's fun, sometimes I just stand there with my mouth open in awe, I found myself smiling and laughing, sometimes just because it's so fun, they play with sheer abandon," Head Coach Connie Bozarth said.

Brylin Daniels said, "We know how to play with each other and we know how to set some certain hitters we know how to pass to the setter perfectly, and that's just helped us for everything."

The Nita Vanoy Tournament begins Friday.
