Conditions may have been calm this morning, but now not so much. Gusty winds expected across the Concho Valley today as high pressure along the surface moves east and a trough of low pressure from the west starts to move into west texas. Watch for winds around 20 to 25 miles per hour later today out of the west-southwest with gusts up to 35. Temperatures will also sore above average near 84 degrees and sunny skies. Winds will die down later tonight into tomorrow morning making for a overnight low around 47 degrees with mostly clear skies. Even warmer for Saturday and the start of Meteorological Spring, with highs near 89 degrees. But the warmer trend is short lived once again as a cold front enters into the region Sunday taking temperatures for a nose dive. Looking for the front around the afternoon for the area so temps will warm into the 60's with partly sunny skies and a 20% chance for showers. Conditions will dry out by Monday but get cold. Highs will only reach near 46 degrees as cold arctic air gets pushed into the Concho Valley. From there we'll gradually warm up, back to the 50's for Tuesday and Wednesday with the 60's for Thursday and possible 70's for next Friday.
