KLST Wed. 07/02/14 6pm Weather

Another nearly seasonal day in the region along with drier conditions. Dew points staying mainly in the 50's allowing for a less muggy afternoon. This may not last long as the cold front continues to push through the lone star state. Very scattered storms moving north along the I-20 corridor already with more possibly forming farther south after 7pm tonight. Chances remain at 30% with mostly cloudy skies in the evening hours and light south winds. Temperatures will also drop down to the lower 70's. Most of the moisture will push eastward as high pressure build back into the area. Showers will mostly be east of a San Angelo to Junction line and drying out for the rest of the forecast. High's Thursday are expected to be slightly cooler topping out near 95 degrees. Possibly warmer for the fourth of July near 96 degrees cooling into the 80's after sunset and in time for fireworks. Staying mainly in the mid 90's all the way through the weekend and into the next work week as well.
