Watching for those south winds to stick around through today, possibly dropping around to 15 to 20 mph. Temperatures will still reach the upper 90's as a dryline forms to our west. With that formation is the possibility for thunderstorms today. 30% chance this afternoon increasing overnight as low pressure passes through enhancing activity. Some of these storms could go severe with large hail and strong winds being the main threats. This could also be a decent rain maker with isolated heavy rainfall making for some flooding. By Thursday afternoon all the activity should be pushed out of the area with partly sunny skies and slightly cooler temps in the upper 80's. Friday will bring the return of the 90's warming through the weekend before a cold front pushes through and takes conditions back to the 80's for the start of the next work week.
