Very consistent forecast for the next 7 days as a cold front slowly pushes through the area and high pressure to our west retreats. Once again the gusty winds hit the Concho Valley today, but as the systems progress watch for those to drop. Mostly staying in the warm mid 90's which is very seasonal for this time of year. Going into the overnight hours temperatures will drop back to the low 70's with a little extra cloud cover and lighter winds. With regards to the cold front, it's a slow moving system with most of the moisture staying well to our north. Expect to see dry conditions through the rest of today and into tomorrow with slight chances in the big country. Wednesday evening looks to be the best chance for the north and northwest Concho Valley. Chances remain only at a 20% with scattered and isolated storms expected so don't be surprised if most of the area doesn't see anything. By Thursday the high pressure to our west starts to build back into the area kicking out the front and warming things back up for the fourth of July. Still not much of a change, expecting to see the seasonal mid 90's with mostly sunny skies all the way through the next work week.
