Freezing drizzle throughout the night has made for some very icy roadways this morning. Take it slow and steady and avoid the loop, bridges and overpasses. These conditions are expected to persist throughout the day as very few areas will warm up above freezing today. Anything that does melt can reform later overnight as we once again drop below freezing. The whole Concho Valley is under a Winter Weather Advisory until 6pm tonight, mostly for the icy conditions. Some schools are delayed as well so pay attention to those, as we get them we will pass them along. Now to the numbers. Cold arctic air will continue to push through the region with near freezing conditions around 34 degrees expected this afternoon. Winds will start to decrease and switch by tonight to the south-southwest 0 to 5 mph. Temperatures will still be cold around 20 degrees then comes the warmer trend. Conditions jump up to the low 60's for Wednesday and cracking the 70's for Thursday. Winds continue to switch towards the southwest and west allowing for this warmer trend to last much longer then we've seen the past few times. Friday will be fairly similar to Thursday with possible 80's for the weekend and upper 70's for Monday.
