KLST Thurs. 07/24/14 Noon Weather

For what seems like more than a week, the morning have been mild temperature wise but humid. Again today seeing dew points in the low 60's making for a humid morning and slightly muggy afternoon. With the threat for triple digits, watch for a miserable day of heat. This afternoon expecting the upper 90's with mostly sunny skies and light east-southeast winds. Slight changes compared to what we were watching yesterday as storms passed through Tyler and Dallas/Fort Worth moving southwest. The outflow boundary of these storms helping to bring a little more cloud cover and very slight chances for rain. If anything pops up it will be isolated between 7am this morning and 7pm tonight. Will also help to keep partly cloudy conditions going overnight with nearly seasonal lows in the mid 70's. Friday, returns to the triple digit mark as winds stay steady out of the southeast with sunny skies. Without any relief, these conditions look to only pick up pace as we enter into the weekend, with a slight cool down by Tuesday. Most of the changes coming from low pressure moving through the great lakes, passing a weak cold front through our region, this while high pressure retreats a little to the west.
