Already we've seen more activity over the past few hours than compared to the start of this wet pattern. Mathis Field already reporting about 0.73" for the day ((valid at 1:00pm CDT)) and more could be on it's way. A second cold front is expected to push through the region allowing for more showers and storms. Throughout the day we'll be watching for the potential of heavy rainfall in some isolated areas, strong winds and hail. San Angelo and the Concho Valley won't get as much as we probably would hope for, most of the moisture will stay to our north and east. Chances stand at 50% throughout today and into the overnight hours. Highs should reach around 92 degrees today with mostly cloudy skies and breezy winds around the south 15 to 20 miles per hour. Tonight expect lows to drop back to the 70's as storms linger possibly through Friday afternoon. Friday will drop to the upper 80's quickly warming up back into the 90's as high pressure build back into the region. Could even see our next triple digit by the start of the next work week.
