Warm, windy and slightly muggy, that's been the story for the whole week and today will be no different. High pressure continues to dominate the forecast helping to keep conditions warmer then what we expect to see this time of year. Today reaching near 99 degrees with sunny skies, breezy winds from the south-southwest 15 to 20 miles per hour. Tonight we'll dip back into the low 70's with mostly clear skies and lighter winds. Tomorrow could finally see the triple digits, before that high pressure starts to break down. That means cooler weather going into the next work week. For the weekend, small pulses of energy will push through keeping conditions slightly cooler in the mid to upper 90's before a cold front slowly pushes south into the Concho Valley. Not only does that mean more cloud cover, but it could also pop up a few thunderstorms Sunday night into Monday. That afternoon expect to only see highs in the low 90's much closer to the seasonal norm, but quickly warming back up into the upper 90's by the middle of the next work week.
