Changes in the forecast after a hot weekend. San Angelo has now seen 7 days of 100+ degrees for 2014, three in a row since Friday. Today could make number 4 in a row and 8 for the year as a cold front slowly pushes through the lone star state. That front will stall around the Big Country and bringing chances for thunderstorms right up to our door step. Most of the activity is expected to be northeast of a line from Sweetwater to Brady. The rest of the Concho Valley may see some influence from this front by tomorrow with highs dropping back into the upper 90's. A second front is looking to move through for Thursday, but helping to warm conditions back to the triple digits for Wednesday before hand. The latest front will drop highs into the low 90's which is actually below average for this time of year. It also brings a 20% chance for thunderstorms from Thursday through Saturday. Sunday looks to dry out with partly sunny skies and cooler temps.
