Well the start of the weekend brought a surprise as more rain fell across portions of the Concho Valley. Since then temperatures have been more mild allowing for less muggy conditions but the moist air continues to prevail. By early this morning a band of showers was moving southeast across the state. Nothing in San Angelo but the extra cloud cover behind did allow for a pleasant afternoon. Temperatures have been slowly warming back up as we see a break in the cloud cover marking the muggy conditions. Into the evening hours watching for the clouds to return as a small wave of low pressure pushes through from New Mexico. That system right not popping up very scattered storms but could become more organized as it pushes east. Our best chances for storms tonight will be after midnight lingering through the early afternoon hours. Temperatures should feel very seasonal around 70 for an overnight lows, warming up to the lower 90's for tomorrow. Some are trying to show the moisture lasting through Wednesday, but most of the model are showing a drier trend into the middle of the work week as high pressure tries to build back into the region. By Wednesday expect partly sunny skies with highs near 93 degrees. By thursday the breezy south winds return as we continue to see a warmer trend through Saturday as we reach the mid 90's. Possibly cooler by Sunday by a few degrees and staying dry for now.
