KLST Fri. 07/04/14 6pm Weather

Another warm and seasonal afternoon making for a great night for fireworks. Some scattered showers earlier to the north across the big country pushing east away from the Concho Valley. Windy fairly breezy, but watch for that to drop slightly around 5 to 10 miles per hour just in time for sunset. Around 9:30 for the fireworks at Lake Nasworthy and Freedom Fest, expect cooler temperatures back into the low to mid 80's. Into the overnight hours lows will drop back again to the seasonal 70's with partly cloudy skies warming back into the mid 90's for the start of the weekend. High pressure continues to build into the region Sunday and into Monday bringing a little warmer conditions, near 97 degrees backing off slightly back to the seasonal mark for the middle of the work week.
