Another round of severe weather effected the Concho Valley last night with more scattered storms bringing several thunderstorms and tornado warnings. For today expect to see conditions more calmer, that is until tonight. This morning we could see winds shift back to the south as the cold front that passed through retreats. This could also bring a few scattered showers to our east from a line at about Junction to Brownwood. Throughout at the day as temperatures return to the seasonal low 90's a dry line will form once again across the Permian Basin. A small bit of energy passing through may interact with that dry line popping up additional showers and storms. Those storm will push east throughout the day entering our extreme western counties by 6pm and possibly into the rest of the Concho Valley during the evening and overnight hours. By the weekend high pressure looks to build it's way back into the area heating conditions back into the upper 90's. Expecting to see near 96 degrees Saturday and 98 for Sunday. Skies will stay mostly sunny as we dip back to the mid 90's for the start of the next work week, lasting possibly through next Thursday.
