Three people were injured in an early morning crash in Irion county, Sunday.

Troopers say, just before 5 a.m. Sunday, the driver of a Ford pick-up truck, a 26-year-old man of Mission, TX, was traveling westbound on US 67. He says he fell asleep at the wheel and struck a truck tractor pulling a semi-trailer.

Three people were in the pick-up and were all transported to Shannon Medical Center.

Troopers are investigating the crash, they say, alcohol may have been a contributing factor.
