Saturday morning's storm caused a power outage affecting thousands in San Angelo.

AEP Texas Spokesman, Fred Hernandez, says just before 9 a.m. the storm caused an outage at the Walnut Substation.

Over 4,700 customers were affected in North San Angelo and portions of the College Hills area.

Crews worked quickly, and were able to restore power in less than an hour.
