Shooting for Meals

The sound of shotguns filled the air, early Saturday morning, at the San Angelo Claybird Association.

Over 200 people participated in the 9th annual Meals for the Elderly Sporting Clay Shoot, Saturday.

For five hours, competitors took on one of two 100 target courses and a challenging shooting game.

Shooters had the opportunity to win a number of giveaways, and the top shooters were presented with trophies.

All money raised benefits Meals for the Elderly; the non-profit organization delivers over 650 meals each day to those in the Concho Valley.
