The seminar began Saturday morning and Master Gardeners learned more ways to grow vegetables with less water and what to plant in the fall.
"Well, these are people who are, probably, already gardeners... we have some master gardeners here today and they are wanting to know what the, uh, best varieties are for this area and, uh, how to do the best water conservation," stated President People Plant Connection, Susan Stanfield. "We always include water conservation in all of our presentations."
The next event will be a Lunch and Learn Friday, July 25th, which will focus on identifying pests and safer ways to get them out of your garden.
