Regional Roundtable set for September

The Texas Downtown Association and Texas Economic Development Council are pleased to announce that we are co-hosting a Regional Roundtable in San Angelo on Thursday, September 18.

Regional Roundtables are meetings that bring representatives of cities and towns, EDCs, chambers, nonprofits and businesses together to hear presentations by expert speakers, share ideas and information, and network.

The San Angelo Regional Roundtable will focus on downtown and economic development and will feature three presentations:
•Downtown & Economic Development in San Angelo
Roland Peña, City of San Angelo Development Corporation
Del Velasquez, Downtown San Angelo, Inc.

•Community Development + Tourism = Economic Development
Tony Guidroz, City of San Saba EDC

•Regional Economic Development
Kathy Keane, Texas Midwest Community Network

All sessions will be held at the McNease Convention Center in San Angelo. A tour of downtown San Angelo will follow.

The Texas Downtown Association, established in 1985, is a statewide nonprofit organization representing over 400 members involved in downtown revitalization projects.
