Medical examiner: preliminary autopsy soon

- The medical examiner has completed the autopsy on the man who died after the officer-involved shooting incident in San Angelo Monday.

The 42-year-old aggravated robbery suspect, Charles D. Welborn, was shot three times by a San Angelo police officer. The SAPD said Welborn was shot after taking a gun from the North Wal-Mart store and threatening to have explosives.

The preliminary autopsy results are expected next week.
