SAN ANGELO, Tx - In news with Kaitlin Moore, in two weeks you'll see big changes to your trash pick-up services and scheduling in San Angelo.
The new, more frequent twice-a-month bulk trash pickup will begin the week of April third.
The new bulk trash service will alternate with every other week recyclable collection.
A new trash map and calendar on the city of San Angelo website will tell you when to put out bulk or recyclables.
That map and calendar is also being mailed in your March water bills.
If you need more space for recyclables than every other week you can get another free recycling container.
Bulk items for every other week pickup can include: furniture, appliances, mattresses, carpeting and yard waste.

Fort Concho continues to celebrate its 150th year and Saturday was the first of three museum days at the fort.
Those attending were able to tour the area, plus activities for the kids and arts and crafts time.
The living history show also coincides with the opening of a new exhibit at the fort called "what's old is new."
A new junior recruit program was also announced in coordination with museum day.

Nearly 100 participants gathered at kids kingdom for the 3rd annual bunny run for habitat for humanity of San Angelo.
Runners participated in their choice of a 1 mile, a 5K or a 10K course.
Proceeds for the event went to habitat San Angelo as they continue their efforts to help build homes in the city.
