San Angelo Students Receive Scholarships at Texas Exes Luncheon

SAN ANGELO, TX - Close to a dozen concho valley students received scholarships Wednesday from San Angelo Texas Exes.

They were honored during the annual Texas Exes scholarship luncheon at River View Restaurant.

Coach Bob Shipley, who is the university of Texas football team's director of high school relations, was the guest speaker.

The scholarship dollars are awarded from a fund supported by Concho Valley graduates of the University of Texas in Austin.

11 students received scholarships from the Texas Exes fund Wednesday as they make plans to attend the University of Texas in the fall.
