Baseball tournament in San Angelo brings youth from all across Texas

San Angelo, TX - 90 degree temperatures didn't stop some baseball from taking place throughout this weekend.

More than 100 teams — 20 from San Angelo — participated in a huge baseball tournament over at the Texas Bank Sports Complex.

The other teams are out of El Paso, Abilene, Odessa and so on — all consisting of kids aged 8 through 12.

The USSSA puts this tournament on — which as evident with where the teams are coming from — involves a lot of travel.

The San Angelo Recreation Department also chipped in, plus about 60 staff members.
