Backyard Pond Tour Fundraiser

San Angelo, TX - A San Angelo man is offering tours of his backyard to help a father battling cancer. Robert Baxter's backyard is unique.

It has nine ponds which are covered in water lilies and koi fish. Today he asked people to stop by his backyard and make a donation.

The money will go to Josh Woods. He's a young husband and father. Woods has 6-year-old twins. He has been battling cancer for more than two and a half years.

Baxter says he just wants to help the family because they're going through a lot.

"It's absolutely a good feeling. People have helped my through life. It's one of those things where you need to pay it forward. And if you can help somebody, it's better than a kick in the knee," says Baxter.

This isn't the first time he does this fundraiser. In 2013, Baxter did a backyard pond tour for Children's Miracle Network raising about $3,000.
