AEP Texas crews began their restoration efforts, Thursday morning, due to the damages caused by Wednesday's storm. Crews expect to work through the weekend.
Over 20,000 customers were without power, and more than 35 transmission poles were damaged.
AEP Texas Spokesperson, Fred Hernandez, says crew expect to have power restored in Tom Green County late Thursday evening.
Nearly 100 customers in McCulloch County are also without power, Thursday night.
