The Wall Hawks would run into a pretty good football team in Arlington, Texas for the 2A Division 1 State Championship High School Football game. The Hawks would face last years 2A champion Cameron Yoe and would fall 35-14. While the first half was a battle between both teams as they would trade touchdowns to go into halftime tied at 14, the second half was a different story. The Yoeman would not score in the third but would dominate the third quarter with time of procession and yardage. Cameron Yoe would have 106 yards compared to 10 yards for the Hawks in the third quarter which would lead to a early touchdown by the Yoeman in the fourth to take a 21-14 lead. The Yoeman would then score 2 more times as Wall would have a few costly fumbles that would help Cameron win there 2nd title in as many years.
