In this week's sports challenge I went into hawk country to take on the number three ranked Wall Hawks defense.
We were in the nest of the hawks to see if we could score on one of the top defenses in the state.
With Head Coach Houston Guy on our side, I teamed with the offense to see if we could move the ball on the d. I tried my hand at quarterback and quickly found out just how fast the hawks flew to the ball.
After several incompletions I asked Coach Guy how Wall's defense has been so good this year. After failing to complete a single pass as quarterback, I switched positions and lined up as a receiver.
I was able to crack the end zone from a few yards away on a slant route and a few plays later snagged another touchdown pass on the fade.
But those two touchdowns were the only scores we could muster from the defense. The Hawks proved worthy of their ranking and are this week's sports challenge winners.
