After having very successful season, and post-season appearances, both Sterling City and Robert Lee saw their 2013 seasons end with double-digit loses in the first round of the six-man playoffs.

Sterling City was at home Thursday night taking on Garden City. Garden City forced several Eagle turnovers deep in their own territory and the Bearkats would capitalize . Garden City went on to defeat Sterling City 54 to 0.

Meanwhile the Robert Lee Steers were in Blackwell taking on a very talented Loraine squad. The Steers limped to the finish line after being bombarded with injuries to several key players including stud Will Howard.

The Steers did bring the effort needed to win a playoff game into Blackwell, the result just did not follow. They were shutout by Loraine by the score of 52 to 0.
