Friday Night Central and Midland Lee will play at San Angelo Stadium for the District 2-5A Championship, and by the way tickets are selling, this game is drawing a lot of interest.

Mark Baker: It's not a sellout yet, but by time Friday gets here we expect it to be pretty full."

Randy Ward: "This won't be the first time this season that the stadium has seen a lot of people. An estimated 15,000 were on hand for the Homecoming game back in October. This week it's very possible that all 17,500 seats will be occupied, as general admission and reserved seating is going fast."

Baker: "The stadium is general admission except for three sections and that is sections C, D, and E. D is the blue seats in the middle on the 50 yard line under the press box and then both sections on either side. Those seats are selling rapidly."

Ward: "SAISD officials offer a couple of benefits to purchasing your tickets ahead of time at the administration building."

Baker: "To avoid the lines to get into the game it would be advantageous to come to the administration building and pick up your tickets. Plus we can save you a little of money."

Ward: "Tickets are available until noon on Friday at the admin building on University and Jackson. Then the remaining tickets will be sold once the gates open at the stadium."

Game time on Friday is set for Seven Thirty. It's also Little Bobcat Night were the YMCA teams are encouraged to wear their team jerseys to the game.
