Bobcats Have Bye Week 10-22-13

The Central Football Staff was proud of the way their football team played on Friday Night against Odessa Permian. Brent Davis said it was most complete game his team has played this season. This week they have a bye on the schedule, so no game on Friday. However, they're still working at the stadium to prepare for the final two games of the season against Abilene Cooper and Midland Lee, the other teams battling for the district title. While they're working, they're also conscious of the need to regroup.

Mark Chester: "We're going to focus on healing up a few banged up guys, getting fresh, getting our legs back under us and focusing on our fundamentals."

Brent Davis: "Get these kids a little rest, you know. It's been a long grind since two-a-days. We haven't had a chance to back off at all, and we are going to do tat some, kind of get our legs under us, get some injuries healed, and try to get ready for the next one."
